QWERTY
The first 6 letters on a standard keyboard - Q,W,E,R,T,Y. The QWERTY Keyboard was initially designed for push arm typewriters.  The letter layout of the QWERTY keyboard prevented the user from typing faster then the arms were able to safely hit the paper and retract without causing a jam. Ironically, while this layout is designed to be limiting in terms of speed and other more efficient designs have come forth, QWERTY keyboards are used in virtually all computers.
