Homeowners Policy
Policy which expands the insurance for a homeowner. It may include theft, liability, earthquake, etc.

Homeowners Warranty
An insurance policy covering the repair of systems and appliances within the home for the coverage period.

Homeowner's or Maintenance Fees
Payments made by property owner (s) of a condominium or a unit in PUD to the homeowners' association for expenses incurred in upkeep of the common areas.

Homestead
Tract of land occupied as a family home.

Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
The federal government agency that oversees FHA.

HTML
Stands for HyperText Markup Language. The programming language used to mark up web content and display it in a formatted manner. It's up to the web browser software, e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape, to render HTML source.

HTML Source
The raw, un-rendered programming code. It can be accessed in Internet Explorer by going to the "View" menu then selecting "Source".

HTTP
HyperText Transfer Protocol is the foremost used protocol to communicate between servers and web browsers. Hypertext transfer protocol is the means by which data is transferred from its residing location on a server to an active browser.

Hubs
Topical hubs are sites which link to well trusted within their topical community. A topical authority is a page which is referenced from many topical hub sites. A topical hub is a page which references many authorities.

HUD
A closing document required by HUD that outlines the settlement cost of a loan. The closing agent generally prepares the document and buyer receives it shortly after the loan is closed.
