Real Estate Website Marketing: Creating Sales Pages

There isn’t’ much business literature that exists on the topic of creating real estate website sales pages. Obviously selling a service requires a different sales approach than selling a product. Likewise, selling a service where someone is willing to spend $400,000 on a home is much different than selling an average $100 service. The language you use will need to be different, you will need to be aware of your written tone and you’ll nee to fully understand your market demographic. What are their needs, wants, desires and ambitions?

We’ve created a helpful sales page checklist for you to use when you’re creating the sales page for your real estate website. It’s by no means a comprehensive checklist, but it will get you thinking about the right elements of sales page writing for your real estate website.

Sales page check list.

1. Identify and put into a sentence what service it is you are selling?

2. What is the essence of this service?

3. What outcome do you offer for your clients?

4. What is your unique take on this service?

5. Why do you do it better?

6. What are the three most common questions about this service going to be? Did you answer these questions in your sales page?

7. Who is your audience?

8. Typically what voice / tone is used to sell this service?

9. What do you really like about this service?

10. What short comings are there and how do you address/minimize them?
