Real Estate Website Content

If you own a real estate website and you are serious about having your site show up in the top of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN), then you need to add content to your site. The bottom line is that search engines love real estate websites with content and lots of it. In fact, we’ve recently conducted a study to help prove our theory that quantity of content is a major factor when it comes to search engine ranking and here is what we found.

Under the search term “Denver real estate” these are the pages the top ranking websites had..

#1: 209 internal pages
#2: 186
#3: 89

And if we go to the 10th page of Google the top 3 results have

#100: 22
#101: 30
#102: 90

So as you can see, there seems to be a strong correlation between the quantity of your real estate content and your search positioning. You also probably noticed that one of the results on the 3rd page had more than one of the results on the main page. In this particular example, we must use our reasoning to conclude that the site with 90 internal pages hasn’t beet out the main page listing of 89 due to other reasons such as lack of banklinks, irrelevant content, lack of history or so on. It could be due to many reasons, but the bottom line is; more relevant content equals a better chance at a top search engine ranking.

If you need to add relevant content to your website, consider posting any of the following real estate articles free of charge on your website, the only thing we require in return is that you keep the tag line attached at the bottom of the page, giving our site credit for the content.
