You have a real estate website, you want more traffic, you know that more quality traffic means higher chances of quality leads. And your right! But the million dollar question still remains unanswered: How do you drive relevant traffic to your website?

One of the best ways to give your real estate website an immediate boost is to post some of your real estate listings on Craigslist on a day to day basis. In the past, real estate webmasters who posted 5 different listings / day were able to drive considerable traffic to their website immediately.

To add a submission to Craigslist all you need to do is login, select your region, input the required fields and then provide a description and some pictures of the property. It’s always a good idea to include pictures in your Craigslist ad. Doing so increasing the percentage change that someone will click on your add.

Now the question you probably have is “if I provide all of this information on Craigslist, what motivation does the individual have to visit my website”. Good question. The answer is that you’re not going to provide them will all the information. Provide them with a shortened property description and only 1 or 2 pictures. Then say “to read more about this property and see more pictures visit the link below” (insert your link below to that specific property).

Once on your site hopefully the site visitor will realize that there are other properties on your site worth looking at as well.
