Two Critical Real Estate Marketing Tools

There are two very critical marketing tools that every real estate website should have. The first is an opt-in newsletter. It is a simple and ubiquitous bit of script but the potential is incredible.  Every time someone signs up for a newsletter its a way to get into their email. Of course, not literally, just that they are expecting to see a newsletter branded by you, and in that regard, you can start to build a relationship with them.  Each newsletter that goes out can have a dramatic impact on your bottom line.  Those that sign up are targeted users who are interested in what you have to offer.  Thus, being able to reach them on a regular basis make opt-in newsletters a vital real estate marketing tool.

The next real estate marketing tool on the list is a searchable database of properties tied into and automatic email notification system.  While it sounds like quite a mouthful, the truth is this is a pretty straight forward tool that most quality real estate websites have.  The searchable database of properties (they have to be kept current) is simply a way of drawing people into your site. The more they use it, the more important it will become to them as resource.  Thus making your real estate site a touchstone for their real estate needs.  The second part of this real estate marketing tool relies on a script to send out a an email notification whenever a property is added to the database that fits a users predefined preferences.  For example, if a user is only interested in blue homes, then an email would be automatically sent out every time a blue home is listed. Again, the effect is that users develop a relationship with the site and rely on it as an authority in the field.

In the final analysis, these two real estate marketing tools will allow real estate webmasters to build strong and lasting relationships with site visitors.  While there has been much maligned use of these two real estate marketing tools, they are still highly effective and should be in any webmasters arsenal.
