Getting Real Estate Links

Marketing your real estate website is no easy feat. Getting relevant real estate links is no easier. However, if you are serious about climbing to the top of the search engine rankings you need high quality and relevant links from other websites, blogs and forums. This is no easy task and it takes time and patience.

The thing about link building is that you’re going to need to be patient and understand the benefits brought about by business delayed gratification. When you start getting inbound links to your website, you’ll notice there is a lag between the time you get the new links and the time when your real estate website starts moving up in the search engine rankings. If you get a link this month, it may not make a search engine ranking difference for 3 months. Not only that, but as the inbound link changes in popularity (hopefully for the better) your search engine position may change as well. All of this is out of your control.

The best you can do is to find quality, relevant link partners from the beginning and hope that they keep increasing in popularity. We have published a blog post here on link request etiquette that you may be interested in checking out.
